By now, we’ve all heard of BTS – the seven member group made up of RM, JIN, SUGA, j-hope, V, Jimin and Jung Kook. Over the past decade, they’ve become a global cultural phenomenon and changed the face of K-Pop on an international scale.
On Spotify, not only was BTS the top K-Pop artist on Wrapped 2022. They were also the first Asian artist to join Spotify’s Billions Club, and their songs Dynamite, Butter and Boy With Luv (feat. Halsey) have each reached over 1 billion streams on the platform.
And beyond their infectious, dance-worthy tunes, they’ve also touched the lives and hearts of ARMY worldwide with incredible songwriting that focuses on social messages like advocating for confidence, positivity and mental health. It’s no wonder the group has fueled – and is fueled by one of the most dedicated fandoms in the world.
To celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary, Spotify and BTS curated a special love letter experience for Spotify listeners: My Top 5: BTS Songs. In a nutshell, it’s an interactive experience that lets you rank and curate your personal favorite songs from a selection of BTS’s discography, and then share your picks on social media.

Ready to share your favorite BTS Songs?
Step One: Ensure your Spotify mobile app is up to date with the latest version available.
Step Two: Visit https://spotify.com/top5 on your device.
Step Three: Once you’re in the experience, you’ll be presented with a curated selection of BTS’s songs. BTS curated this special selection with Spotify that celebrates their collective discography of the past decade for the in-app experience (the selection of songs does not include the full BTS catalog, or songs by other artists where BTS is featured). This is where you’ll select your five favorite songs of all time. Then, drag and reorder them in the visual display to rank your selection.
Step Four: Customise your sharecard. After you receive a personalized digital card with your selections, you can choose a sharecard backdrop featuring your BTS bias.
Step Five: You’re all set! Share your personalised sharecard on social media with #spotifymytop5, and compare your selection with fellow ARMYs.
My Top 5: BTS Songs marks the next iteration of this Spotify interactive experience after seeing massive success with other iconic artists, including The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and ROSALÍA, which received an overwhelming response from fans worldwide.
